A new place for your mountain getaway

In 2025, Pension Hraničář became part of the Resort Split family.

It is located in the picturesque village of Háj u Loučné pod Klínovcem, in the heart of the Ore Mountains, just a few minutes from the Klínovec ski resort.

Our goal is to combine the tradition and history of this place with the quality and approach you know from Resort Split.

We are creating a space that combines mountain tranquility, a family atmosphere, and honest service.

Pension Hraničář

The history of our guesthouse dates back more than 100 years, when the building was not yet a guesthouse but a cultural center called Gast Haus und Deutsch Haus.

At that time, it housed a restaurant and a unique suspended hall with a stage, where carnivals, theater performances, and film screenings were held.

Around 2000, the building underwent an insensitive renovation, during which the stage and the original hall were destroyed. However, accommodation facilities were added, and the foundation of today’s guesthouse was laid.

Since 2007, the building has been cared for by its original owners, who have brought it back to life and gradually improved it.

Since 2025, we – the team from Resort Split – have been the new owners, and we are continuing this tradition with respect. Our goal is to take Penzion Hraničář further: to preserve its unique character, add new comforts, and connect it with the quality that guests from our resort are familiar with.
